Satisfies NAR’s mandatory triennial ethics training requirement and the NYS 2.5 hour ethics requirement. Explore differences between ethics, legal standards, industry codes, company policies, individual values, and the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. Learn which Articles of the Code are the most common subject of complaints and how to apply the code using real life scenarios and case studies. Professional Standards enforcement, procuring cause, arbitration, NAR’s mediation requirement and the appeals process will also be reviewed.

Full refund will be issued if cancellation is made 3 or more business days prior to class. NO REFUNDS if cancellation is less than 3 business days, instead Education Credit will be issued for use within one year of cancellation. Students who do not show for class will LOSE entire tuition. LIBOR reserves the right to cancel class if minimum enrollments is not met. If LIBOR needs to cancel or delay a class due to inclement weather or emergency, information will be posted on LIREALTOR.com AFTER 7:00 am and also on our automated voice mail message system on 631-661-4800, also AFTER 7:00 am
If the class is approved for NYS CE: LIBOR strictly follows Section 176.6 of the NYS License Law – Article 12A. Students are only permitted to miss 10% of classroom time. If more than 10% of class time is missed for any reason, NYS continuing education credits will not be issued. All New York licensing classes follow the same law for permissible time missed.
A cancellation 10 or more days before a class is subject to a $25 fee. No refund is available for a cancellation made within 10 days of class or for a no-show.
