The Multiple Listing Service of Long Island, Inc. released the April 2018 local housing market numbers.
The Long Island closed median home price for April was $443,750, which represents a 6.9% increase over last year. Year over year contracted (pending) median home prices were up 5.8%.
April was an active month for contracted sales activity. MLSLI reported 3,807 transactions this April compared to 3,515 a year ago representing an 8.3% gain.
