According to the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island, Inc. (MLSLI), the March 2018 closed median home price on Long Island, which includes Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens, is $440,000 representing an 8.1% increase over last March.
The contracted (pending) median home price for Long Island is also on the rise and is $445,000; representing a 3.9%, increase over $428,498 reported the year prior.
All three counties represented by MLSLI reported year over year closed median home price gains in the month of March. Nassau County reported a closed median home price of $505,000 representing an increase of 8% over last year. Suffolk County reported a closed median home price of $352,000 compared to $329,995 in March 2017. Queens reported a $538,000 closed median home price in March 2018 representing a 9.6% increase over last year.
