February Home Prices Up on Long Island

Mar 15, 2018

In February, the Long Island closed median home price, which includes Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens housing data, was $430,000.  This represents an increase of 7.5% over last February's reported closed median home price of $400,000.   For the past twelve months, MLSLI has reported year-over-year consecutive gains in local home prices.

Additionally, contracted, or pending median home prices are experiencing much of the same trend, as the supply of available inventory, coupled with buyer demand, continues to fuel home prices upward.
