Long Island Housing Data for November 2016

The November 2016 closed median home price for Long Island, which includes Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens’ housing data, was $403,000 representing a 3.3% increase over last year.

Nassau County reported a $460,000 closed median home price in November representing a 7% increase over $430,000 reported by MLSLI last year. Suffolk County reported a closed median price of $335,000, which represents a 1.5% increase over a year ago. Queens reported a closed median home price of $480,000, which represents a 11.5% increase over last year.

The total number of Long Island residential inventory was 16,115 representing a 19.9% year over year decline in available listings from last year.
