Central Nassau Chapter Party for a Purpose
This year our Central Nassau Chapter is dedicated to making the holidays more festive for families who can't do it for themselves.
As Realtors, we make our living in the housing business. We see the stress that finding the 'perfect house' causes every day. But nothing can be more devastating than not having any home at all. Yet every night, more than 1,000 people - many of them children - turn to Community Housing Innovations (CHI) for shelter.
CHI is the largest provider of emergency housing on Long Island. CHI also provides emergency housing on Long Island. CHI also provides emergency housing through a unique model, the Supervised Family Resident (SFR). The SFR houses up to nine families each. living under the supervision of a case manager. There, they can safely work towards finding permanent housing.
Our mission is to provide funds to help these families enjoy the holidays!
Ticket Price - $25 per person (100% donation to CHI)
Please bring new gloves, scarves, hats and socks (adult and children sizes)
Entrance includes: 1 complimentary drink (to the first 50 attendees), cash bar, food, dancing with DJ, silent auction (with proceeds benefitting CHI)
