This class has been specially designed to assist the Real Estate Salesperson and Brokers who may be working with Real Estate Investor Clients providing housing. In add or for anyone who is working with Section 8 who would like to enter the real estate investing business model.
Learning Objectives:
To provide the real estate professional with an overview of the Section 8 Housing Program and help prepare them to work with both families in need of housing and the property owners and Managers. We will discuss the benefits and requirements from both the Tenant and property owner prospective. Effective property management concepts will be covered including highlights from the “Housing Security and Tenant Protection Act of 2019”.

Cancellation Policy for LIBOR courses:
Full refund will be issued if cancellation is made 3 or more business days prior to class.
NO REFUNDS if cancellation is less than 3 business days, instead Education Credit will be issued for use within one year of cancellation.
Students who do not show for class will LOSE entire tuition. LIBOR reserves the right to cancel class if minimum enrollments is not met. If LIBOR needs to cancel or delay a class due to inclement weather or emergency, information will be posted on LIREALTOR.com AFTER 7:00 am and also on our automated voice mail message system on 631-661-4800, also AFTER 7:00 am
Attendance Policy for LIBOR Courses
If the class is approved for NYS CE: LIBOR strictly follows Section 176.6 of the NYS License Law – Article 12A. Students are only permitted to miss 10% of classroom time. If more than 10% of class time is missed for any reason, NYS continuing education credits will not be issued. All New York licensing classes follow the same law for permissible time missed.
Cancellation Policy for NAR Designation courses:
A cancellation 10 or more days before a class is subject to a $25 fee. No refund is available for a cancellation made within 10 days of class or for a no-show.”
